Canadian chef, restaurateur, and barbecue pitmaster extraordinaire Stephen Perrin has built a reputation for himself in the competitive BBQ circuit in North America over the past 5 years. As a founding partner of The Substance Food Group, which includes fine dining, casual Italian, and BBQ restaurants, Stephen is constantly seeking to expand and challenge his culinary abilities. He has showcased his exceptional cooking skills and unique flavour profiles by competing in prestigious culinary competitions such as the Houston Rodeo, San Antonio Rodeo, KCBS Invitational, Memphis in May and the World Food Championships.

 

With a deep love for BBQ, Stephen's passion for the art and science of BBQ has driven him to experiment with various smoking techniques, flavours, and recipes to perfect his craft. His unwavering dedication and skill have earned him recognition as a top contender in BBQ competitions across the USA.
